Welcome to my life as a Dog Coach!
Why a Coach? Why not a Trainer like the rest?

From the age of 6 – 18 I was a soccer player, competitive league and Provincials. I represented Canada once in a tour into the U.S. and that was one of the best times I had in my life. I ended up winning the Provincial Cup as Captain with my Team, and several other notable achievements. Soccer was my life! I have coached many teams and many at-risk youth on how to bring out your full potential.

I believe in an honour system. I believe in time-outs. I believe that exercise is freedom.

My mind has been conditioned to be an award-winning athlete, but my body wants a stunt double. Hahahaha My journey to find the balance begins and ends with me. Now I’ve honed in on my gift; my experience as a soccer coach was a natural fit. I believe in working as a team, with clients, and leaving a lasting impression. As an adult, it had translated from coaching tiny tots, to not-so-tiny men, and to now DOGS, whom are begging for my no none-sense approach & attention.

One secret about coaching kids is to keep them interested.
One secret about coaching men is to keep them attending.
& One secret about coaching dogs is to keep them wanting more.

Now that I have 5 years coaching soccer, 10 years mentoring at-risk youth, 30 years of managing projects on a National and international basis; I find solace with my dog life. It has translated into coaching services for dogs that need to be inspired. You can’t lie to dogs, they will sniff out fake and vacant intentions. I love that about them, they are the true see’ers and do’ers.

I inspire them to move, to jump, to run, to listen, to learn, to achieve and to respect etc. I teach them to be dogs again, and that is what fuels my drive to help them overcome the odds and shine.

Every dog is different, basic obedience can only go so far. Treats, although useful, are not the driving force of an athlete. You don’t see coaches running on a soccer field to give out pizza to their players, NO! Hahahaha Even oranges were weird. But I do provide water and encouragement beyond the sidelines.

I provide a mobile service because it’s near impossible to remember and implement all appropriate changes you learn from training sessions. How do you apply them to your everyday life. I teach your dog in real time, no groups, no classes, private coaching (with my Helper Dog Dobby) for direct results. Let’s set your dog up for success by nailing the issue indoors and during your own walks. Repetition is the key to all changes, we will perfect your form, and get you ready to handle crazy situations in this unpredictable world.

I believe in this process and my services so much that I will provide you with 24/7 on call (or text) assistance. I’m not a stranger, I’m a part of the family that is teaching everyone to be a team. Sometimes things happen and you need information. You can text me or call, and I will answer your questions to the best of my ability. I WANT TO BE THERE FOR YOU! No way am I going to turn people away because it’s nighttime. That’s what separates me from the rest, I care 24/7. Not just during business hours. It’s my goal to work myself out of this job so that you have ALL the tools it takes to make healthy decisions for your dog/son/daughter/family!

If I didn’t have Dobby, I wouldn’t be able to understand that it takes a pack with a pack leader to raise a pack follower. And you need a dog to help a dog. Anything else would be uncivilized. Lol
